Senior Consultant, Strategic Change Communication

Position: Senior Consultant, Strategic Change Communication
Position Type: Full-time, remote work, with occasional in-person work required. We give strong preference to candidates located in the Richmond, VA – Baltimore, MD corridor.

Using our proprietary processes and change leadership methodology, the Senior Consultant, Strategic Change Communications, leads, designs and delivers client projects to expand impact. The person in this role is an integral part of CSR Communications’ mission to deliver results for clients’ organizational change efforts. This position is part of our client service delivery team and reports to the Chief of Staff.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Leading strategic planning and organizational change strategy development
- Analyzing client’s goals and objectives to develop strategic plans and formulating a comprehensive roadmap to bridge the gap between clients’ current and desired states.
- Fostering relationships and understanding diverse perspectives to inform the strategy.
- Facilitating meetings, workshops, or focus groups.
Developing and implementing change communication projects
- Prioritizing goals and aligning communication and engagement strategies with the client's vision and objectives.
- Developing key messages
- Define measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success.
Delivering training in effective change leadership and strategic change communication.
- Customizing training for client needs and designing new training programs.
- Delivering existing CSR Communications training programs, including our Intrapreneurs Influence Lab.
Supporting business development and thought leadership efforts
- Preparing capabilities presentations and proposals.
- Participating in conferences, events and new business meetings.
- Tracking emerging trends, best practices, and industry changes
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working in communications for Fortunate 500 companies, strategy or communications for large nonprofits, and/or client service at consulting firms
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Must be PC User), especially SharePoint, PPT and Word applications
- Willingness and ability to learn other software, such as Trello and Pipedrive
- Solid business acumen and ability to understand complex business issues and drivers
- Facilitation and coaching
- 7-10 years' experience developing and delivering successful organizational change and/or strategic corporate communication strategies in large-scale organizations
- Excellent oral and written business communication skills, experience crafting client correspondence, strategic plans, key message frameworks, internal communication deliverables
- Problem solving
- Ability to structure project plans and deploy firm resources to deliver results on time and on budget
- Ability to work remotely, with a reliable internet connection

Compensation & Benefits:
- Closed the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
- 401k plan, eligibility after one year of service
- $500 annual charitable match for qualified nonprofit organization

- Annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
- 3 weeks of PTO accrued
