Senior Business Development Specialist

As of June 16th, a global law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to service attorneys within the Washington, DC office. The Senior BD Specialist will be responsible for:

· Working directly with attorneys in the arbitration, trade, and anti-corruption practices on the creation and execution of business development and marketing initiatives.

· Preparing tailored pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs for distribution to clients.

· Organizing logistics for conferences, events, and speaking engagements, including working with vendors, providing on-site support, and gathering post-event feedback.

· Creating marketing and other promotional materials as well as generating content for the firm’s website.

· Advising attorneys on marketing best practices, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and compiling deal information for ranking submissions.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of business development experience within a law firm or other professional services setting.

· A proactive work ethic and strong interpersonal and writing skills.

· Ability to draft creative RFPs and other practice-specific pitch materials.

· A collaborative and creative approach to marketing.
