Book Production Assistant, Random House (Open To Remote) ($48000.00 / Year)

Employer is seeking a Book Production Assistant to join our team. Job Responsibilities

• Manage promotional materials, including coordinating schedules, estimating costs, creating covers, purchasing, tracking materials, and reviewing invoices
• Update data in databases and compile and distribute reports
• Provide general administrative support to the Production team, including attending meetings, recording and posting meeting notes, sending packages, and watermarking PDF files
• Learn how to produce paperback books
• Archive and retrieve digital assets, and transmit materials for e-book production

Qualifications

• Experience in book production is a plus, but not required
• Capacity for anticipating problems and proposing solutions
• Basic math skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedule tasks effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in expanding skills through available training in Adobe Creative Suite
