Job Description

Job Title: Sr Grants Specialist

Location: Remote work/NY

Type: 1+ year contract

Rate- $(Best Possible)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current and upcoming federal and state (NY and NJ) grants and incentives for sustainability-related initiatives such as zero emission vehicles (ZEV) and equipment, ZEV charging infrastructure, decarbonization of buildings, renewable energy production, energy storage, sustainable fuels, and related planning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles, projects, and programs.
  • Ability and willingness to learn technical subject matter related to sustainability projects at the.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of government regulations related to federal and state grant programs.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to make concise presentations to a variety of audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Sustainability, Project Management, Planning, or other relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grants management
  • Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products
