Length of contract: 4-5 months

• Expertise in conducting research on current state business processes and governance model through fact-finding activities, interviewing, and group facilitation
• Recommends and applies strategic thinking, process improvement, and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process improvement programs and projects by proposing, completing, and analyzing business models, data models, and hybrid enterprise models, identifying best practices, documenting and assessing performance measurements, and identifying business and technology solutions to streamline processes.
• Conducts the elicitation and management of business and systems-level requirements for projects and employs industry-standard tools to manage requirements, configuration management, and modeling to support requirements management and/or business modeling activities.
• Ability to lead highly complex business analysis efforts and mature business analysis disciplines as a whole
• Possesses analytical skills through educational background and work experience and can apply those skills to client engagements.
• Validate solution(s) delivered to meet business needs for programs, projects, and sub-projects as assigned and have the ability to mature business analysis disciplines.
• Demonstrated mastery in independently applying business analysis on moderately to highly complex projects, strategic thinking, scoping, requirements elicitation, business process modeling, requirements management, and feasibility and cost-benefit analysis.
• Provides direction and strategic vision to business analysis framework improvement programs by assessing and providing recommendations to all business analysis-related disciplines.
• Applies portfolio management concepts, including business-IT alignment, prioritization, business cases and market surveys, project costing techniques for moderately to highly complex projects and develop cost estimates for highly complex projects/programs.
• Formulates and defines strategy, business process, and systems scope and objectives for programs and projects through research and fact-finding activities combined with an expert understanding of business process analysis and requirements management practices and principles.
• Proven past experience with agile delivery practices and transforming legacy business processes using an innovative, modern approach.
• Exhibits strong communication, facilitation, interview, formal document writing, and presentation skills.
• Leads/Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional knowledge transfer to appropriate stakeholders.
• Expertise in IT Governance industry best practices, focusing on portfolio management, budgeting, prioritization, IT delivery, and business/IT alignment
• Recommends and applies strategic thinking, process improvement, and re-engineering principles to conduct process improvement efforts by identifying best practices, solutions to streamline processes, and gaps between current and target states
• Deep understanding of strategy, business processes, governance bodies, and strategic analysis supporting IT Governance

Qualifications

Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of SDLC methodology and UML.
• Advanced proficiency using various Microsoft Office desktop products.
• Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis, trending, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of technologies relevant to the engagement.
• 7+ years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibility
• Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
