Job Summary

Our client, a prestigious university in New York, has an opening on their team for someone with experience in a bursar or financial aid office who is looking to make a jump to IT. The ideal candidate is someone that has worked in either of those offices with a blend of technical and functional skills.

Responsibilities

• The analyst is expected to contribute to the Support team's continuous improvement processes, participating in regular retrospectives, highlighting areas of challenge and bringing forward optimizing suggestions.
• The workday analyst provides leadership and expertise and works closely with their peer group to support all aspects of the Workday information system: students Records, Curriculum Management, Academic Advsising, students Finance and Reporting.
• The analyst is responsible for group activities that develop requirements and design documentation along with use cases, based on user input.
• A successful candidate will have deep functional expertise in 1 or more of these functional areas: Financial Aid or students Finance.
• The analyst provides leadership to teams and individuals to deliver and implement new systems or functions and is responsible for administration, maintenance, upgrades and security compliance of University business systems.
• The analyst is part of a highly collaborative team and is responsible for designing documenting and evaluating work flows and business processes; they complete application configuration create testing strategies and offer guidance to the team that supports planning and implementation of new systems or functionality are delivered with quality.
