Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Workday, a cloud-based human resources (HR) and finance management system, within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and completion of the Workday implementation project, ensuring it meets the defined objectives, timelines, and quality standards. This role requires exceptional project management expertise, knowledge of Workday functionalities, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Establish clear project goals and milestones.

Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, IT, and other relevant departments, to understand their requirements, expectations, and priorities. Ensure effective communication and manage stakeholders' expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a cross-functional project team, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and tasks are clearly defined. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Workday Expertise: Possess knowledge and understanding of/exposure to Workday functionality, configuration, and integration capabilities.

Project Execution: Monitor and control project activities, ensuring adherence to the project plan, timelines, and budget. Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure successful implementation. Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the implementation process.

Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular project status reports, documenting progress, risks, and issues. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, design documents, and change requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced with International Workday Implementations (North America, EMEA, etc.)
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex Full Life Cycle Workday projects implementations (start to finish).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple workstreams, priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, computer science, information systems) is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, CSM, CSPO or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in change management and user training is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 previous enterprise Workday Implementations.
• Proven Expertise with Workday functionalities, configurations, and integrations.
• Willingness to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate United States and International time zones.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
