Job Description

Title: Functional Tester (Trading platform experience)

Location: Remote (Can be located anywhere is USA or Canada)

Type: Long term 12+ Months


JD:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Provide digitally advanced financial products to consumers
  • You are energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated, and can build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to understand the requirements, analysis and writing test scripts
  • Collaborate with globally located cross functional teams in building customer-centric products
  • You possess a strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team
  • Intuitively and approach problems with an open mind, within the context of a team
  • Involved in end-to-end testing of the application
  • You are independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environments
  • You have exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions


Required skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with automation testing, including tools such as REST Assured, Protractor, Selenium
  • Experience with microservice architecture
  • Resources with some background in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management etc.Ideally with Trading platform background.
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript
  • Working with agile operating models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Financial Services and Trading platform
  • B.S. or higher (Computer Science degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in Manual testing / QA automation.
  • Ability to work with product heads, and stakeholders
  • Need good Functional QA/Testers with Trading platform experience.Manual is fine, but some automation exposure is needed.
