Workday Reporting Analyst


THIS IS A 6 MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT PAID VIA A THIRD PARTY AND CAN BE DONE REMOTELY ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Reporting Analyst to join our P&O People analytics team. As a Workday Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging the power of Workday's reporting capabilities to provide accurate and insightful HR data to our stakeholders. Your expertise in Workday reporting and analytics will be essential in supporting strategic decision-making, optimizing HR processes, and driving data-informed HR initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  1. Workday Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain a variety of Workday reports, including standard, custom, and ad-hoc reports. Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports within the Workday system.
  2. Data Analysis and Validation: Collect and analyze HR data from Workday and other relevant sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Conduct data validation checks and troubleshoot any inconsistencies or discrepancies. Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support HR decision-making.
  3. Dashboard Creation and Visualization: Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards using Workday Prism Analytics or other reporting tools. Present HR data in a clear and concise manner, enabling stakeholders to easily interpret and utilize the information for strategic purposes.
  4. Report Optimization and Automation: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing Workday reports to improve efficiency and user experience. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline reporting processes to increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR business partners, and other stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide timely and accurate HR data insights. Build strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor in Workday reporting and analytics.
  6. Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure data privacy and compliance with data protection regulations. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security within the Workday system.
  7. Documentation and Training: Document report specifications, data sources, and processes for future reference. Provide training and support to P&O team members on accessing and utilizing Workday reports effectively.


Requirements:


  • In-depth knowledge of Workday reporting tools and functionalities, including report writer, calculated fields, and Prism Analytics.
  • Experience working in Qualtrics, or other survey tools is preferred.
  • Experience working on executive reporting is a plus.
  • Workday certification or relevant training is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Workday Reporting Analyst or similar role, with a focus on Workday reporting and analytics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and creating engaging dashboards using reporting tools like Workday Prism Analytics, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, metrics, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze complex HR data sets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
