DESCRIPTION
The Regional Sales Manager is a product expert, passionate about bringing our products and services to life for the customer. This role is a top seller who drives sales by delivering high-quality customer service and building strong repeat customer relationships. The Regional Sales Manager is directly responsible for capturing, executing, and managing large sales for customers with special requests. This role is based out of LA retail store location.
The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Retail and Visual Merchandising.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Networks and recruits new customers and maintains the customer database.
- Networks and conducts customer outreach for upcoming events and PR opportunities.
- Knowledge and appreciation of Dylan’s Candy Bar products and history with the ability to recommend merchandise based on customer preferences, personal enthusiasm for the product and priority items from every day to seasonal gifts, favors, gift baskets.
- Responsible for updating the customer database that can be used for invites and to drive sales.
- Represents the brand during events and PR opportunities, when applicable.
- Anticipates needs and proactively suggests gifts to customers for upcoming occasions and holidays utilizing approved marketing collateral.
- Follow-up with order processing, tracking, and pricing as requested.
- Work with appropriate corporate partners to help fulfill customer orders by reviewing, locating, and analyzing the most cost-effective way to get products to the customer.
- Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment for customer pick-up and delivery orders.
- Timely and appropriate follow-up communication on tasks, product issues, customer feedback, and business opportunities as needed.
- Act as a role model for the business and set the benchmark for sales and service standards at Dylan’s Candy Bar
- Comfortable being on camera for PR opportunities, as needed.
- Consistently provides an elevated experience; strong and consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Exemplary interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external as well as corporate partners.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to use Excel, Word, Shopify and Airtable a plus.
- 2-4 years in-store or external personal shopping experience
- Ability to analyze and control costs.
- Ability to think creatively with our products and offerings.
- An appreciation of Dylan’s Candy Bar’s unique culture, entrepreneurial attitude, its heritage, and its passion for its unique products
- Excellent organizational, decision making, problem solving, and teambuilding skills.
- Extremely detail oriented and strong with customer follow-up and communication
