- Experience working in an Operating Room and familiarity with OR etiquette is a must.
- Ophthalmology sales experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated digital acumen to identify and capitalize on emerging digital trends and opportunities in the marketplace.
- Maintain knowledge of cataract surgery and portfolio of cataract products as well as refractive and dry eye products.
- French Bilingualism
- Knowledge of Capital and Consumable selling cycles (Requirement)
- At least three years of previous OR/Surgical Device sales or marketing experience.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in French and English.
- Recruit, develop and Inspire a high-caliber team of sales individuals suited to their core specialty area.
- Define and execute long-term business growth strategy that drives increased sales, market share.
- A University Degree, with an MBA an asset.
- Achieve and exceed Quota while advancing related goals and initiatives of J&J Vision.
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Work within an assigned annual budget, allocate accordingly to the team and ensure compliance with applicable company goals, policies, and procedures
- Ensure complete adherence to Health Care Compliance (HCC) guidelines by the team.
- Strong computer skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Apply financial and commercial acumen to analyze and report sales results against forecast to senior management and make any adjustments to business plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people (Asset)
- Gain market insights through interaction with customers, payors, and industry; develop a deep understanding of problems, needs, and translate into possible solutions.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to establish, maintain and grow partnerships with customers and stakeholders

- Faire preuve de perspicacité financière et commerciale pour analyser et communiquer à la haute direction les résultats des ventes par rapport aux prévisions, et procéder à des ajustements des plans commerciaux afin de garantir l’atteinte des objectifs.
- Recruter, bâtir et inspirer une équipe de vente de haut calibre, dont les membres sont versés dans leur principal domaine de spécialité.
- Parfaire ses connaissances sur la chirurgie de la cataracte et la gamme de produits conçus pour des soins en chirurgie de la cataracte, chirurgie réfractive et sécheresse oculaire.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale;
- Connaissances des cycles de vente de biens d'équipement et de consommables;
- Maîtrise des techniques de négociation avancées;
- Diplôme universitaire, un M.B.A. (maîtrise en administration des affaires) un atout;
- Grande habileté à utiliser un ordinateur – Word, PowerPoint et Excel;
- Compétences informatiques essentielles pour dégager et exploiter les tendances et les technologies numériques émergentes sur le marché;
- Bilinguisme, excellente maîtrise du français.
- Expérience de travail en salle d'opération requise et connaissances indispensables de l'étiquette qui a cours en bloc opératoire;
- Au moins 3 années d'expérience dans la vente ou la commercialisation de dispositifs chirurgicaux ou opératoires requises;
- Expérience de la vente en ophtalmologie fortement souhaitable;
- Au moins 5 années d'expérience dans l’encadrement et la gestion de personnel;
