Job Summary:
The Project Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain project management within the Sunnova. This role involves coordinating and executing projects related to sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. The Project Manager, Supply Chain will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Field Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Engineering, to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes. The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain operations in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Field Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Engineering to align supply chain strategies with business goals and project requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations. Proactively address any supply chain disruptions or bottlenecks.
- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans for supply chain initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and sustainability practices. Drive initiatives to improve the company's environmental and social impact.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Oversee project implementation for sourcing and procurement processes for solar equipment, materials, and services while ensuring adherence to stakeholder demand.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, drive process improvements, and generate reports for management. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, such as consolidation, process improvements, and supplier negotiations, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects within budget and time constraints with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems and related equipment is highly desirable.
- 4-6 years of proven experience as a project manager or similar role, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
