Position: Plant Supply Chain Manager - Automotive
Location: Cibolo, TX 78124
Hours: 8am - 5pm with some OT
Industry: Manufacturing

Profile
The Plant Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall supply chain & logistics strategy (Production Control & Logistics Function).
Responsibilities
1.Responsible to solve factory issues, coordinates operations, negotiates with and requests cooperation from related departments, other departments and external parties.
2.Responsible to identify problems and to prevent defective products, goes to the floor to judge for themselves the actual condition. If judged “no good,” determine next steps to countermeasure the problem.
3.Motivate TMs and maximize their ability by providing them with training opportunities based on systematic Fundamental Skills and Human Resources development plans.
4.To optimize operational resources while executing cost reduction and inventory controls. In addition, conducting monthly capacity and performance analysis to ensure that forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated.
5.Maintaining a total cost perspective with lean manufacturing mindset by identifying obsolescent drivers and effectively communicating solutions to 3rdparty logistics providers.
6.Engages and motivates Assistant Managers, Group Leaders, Team Leaders and Team Members to follow and adhere to company policies and objectives regarding safety, quality, environmental, and information security.
Qualifications
1.Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business Admin., or Supply Chain Management or other related Degrees.
2.Minimum 5 years Logistics, Production Control, Supply Chain management experience in a manufacturing environment
3.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership position.
4.Minimum 3 years of experience in a company with over 100 employees
5.Ability to develop safety work instructions and standard operating procedures
6.Knowledge of automotive manufacturing industry, total quality management systems and best practices
7.Effective Leadership track record and a good grasp of respect develop and challenge your staff concept
8.Effective oral and written communications skills
Desirable Qualifications
1.Experience in a cross-cultural working environment.
