In partnership with the Technical and Finance Lead, the SC Director will be responsible for leading ERP Project Delivery for the Supply Chain organization, our client’s key Strategic Initiative to digitally Transform the Company’s back-end operations.
An integral part of the role is managing the Supply Chain Project Management Office, which creates, monitors, and coordinates the short-term tactical projects within the Supply Chain Areas.
PROJECT DELIVERY:
In 2022, our client launched a transformation initiative to replace aging legacy applications to an Oracle Cloud based platform to Deliver internal capabilities to:
· Support Business Growth
· Improve customer and employee satisfaction
· Realize operational efficiency
· Enable our client to become the top service supplier in the Industry.
Project Deliver will cover all the key Supply Chain areas, specifically:
· Demand & Supply Planning
· Inventory Management
· Sourcing & Procurement
· Order Management
· Fulfillment
· Manufacturing
The deployment of a new ERP system (Oracle Fusion) is the key enabler of our client's digital transformation. The Overall Project Roadmap identifies multiple release phases to be deployed in the next 5 years.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reporting directly to the company’s Chief Supply Chain Officer, SC Director will oversee a Project Management Office team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Deliver
Lead the core Supply Chain cross-functional project team, by coordinating efforts between different project tracks and managing the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation.
· Lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects
· Ensuring that the deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
· Own program issues and facilitate their resolution/escalation
· Set realistic deadlines, and communicate them consistently to the core team
· Build and manage work breakdown structure along with work stream leaders
· Responsible for maintaining the alignment of each initiative within a comprehensive Operative Model
· Managing dependencies across all project workstreams
· Monitoring progress and tracking roadblocks, supporting workstream Leaders with subject matter knowledge and project management expertise
· Serve as an advisor to Executive Sponsors.
· Key Business Project Owner to represent the SC team at the Operating and Steering Committee Meeting
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain transformation initiatives
· Ideally possess Oracle experience, specifically the use of ERP tools to drive Operational Excellence.
· Consumer products or industrial supply experience considered a ‘plus’.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to travel (not heavy) as required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
· Effective analysis and decision-making skills.
· Strong budgeting and cost-containment skills.
· Communicate clearly in written, presentation, and digital means.
· Ability to navigate throughout the organization and influence appropriately to drive positive change.
· Ability to be a visionary with a strong focus on execution and fact-based decisions.
· Interpersonal skills: must be able to influence positively.
· Impeccable personal and professional integrity.

· Strong management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; must be able to develop self and others, maintain effective working relationships across the organization, and provide a visible, confidence, team leader for the PMO team and others.

· Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree preferred.
· APICS certification a plus, not required.
