Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, MedTech Supply Chain Quality to be located at one of the MedTech locations. The preferred locations include Jacksonville, FL, Cornelia, GA, Raynham, NJ, Cork, Ireland, Limerick, Ireland, San Lorenzo, PR, Juarez, Raritan, NI or at any other site with MedTech facility network.

This role must sit at one of the MedTech sites as this is not a remote role.

JOB SUMMARY:

MedTech Supply Chain Quality Manager will lead global Quality Excellence programs across MedTech Quality to drive growth, delivery, quality, and cost improvements. They will be responsible for leading and implementation of the process improvements, human centered automations, procedures simplification, introduction of new technologies and establishment of new business operating model involving multiple franchises and functions. They will interface with various cross-functional stakeholders and will drive alignment and prioritization of improvement opportunities including approval of business cases. They will lead all aspect of process improvement implementation in achieving target outcomes which includes chartering, metrics identification, resource requirements, detailed schedule, milestones, identification, and mitigation of risks including stakeholder change management plan and communication plans. Through stakeholder interfaces, they will capture and translate customer insights into solutions including conducting internal and external benchmarking in surfacing best practices for adoption.

In addition to implementation of Quality Excellence programs leveraging process excellence tools & methodologies, they will be responsible for building and coaching local teams on adoption of new practices and skill that will help sustain improvements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and leadership to execute optimization efforts
  • Set and monitor key performance targets through successful delivery
  • Manage process improvement implementations
  • Identifies, develops and manages stakeholder change management and communication plans
  • Lead strategic alignment on Process optimization activities and business cases
  • Ensure use of Process Excellence / Lean tools in process optimization
  • Ensure key business processes and capabilities are designed and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope
  • Drive collaboration across functions to provide process solutions that meet customer needs and enable business growth
  • Owns outreach to stakeholders and POC for non-quality teams, escalates to Leadership
  • Support budget cycle (LRFP, JU, BP, NU) to accommodate business needs

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • University/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science is required

EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Engineering across Supply Chain or Quality
  • Experience in people leadership and leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives with cross-functional, diverse, global teams using Process Excellence Methodology
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Process Excellence Black Belt Certification
  • Organizational change management experience

PREFERRED:

  • Certified Process Excellence Master Blackbelt
  • Able to manage complex strategic programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong background and knowledge of quality systems management elements
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and combination products
  • Able to provide outcome-based/value-driven focus to the organization
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills; other language skills advantageous

OTHER:

  • 25-30% travel with regional or global reach
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 to $166,750
  • In the San Francisco Bay Area, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,200 to $191,820
