This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong Supply/Procurement Experience in the Oilfield Equipment segment, has been successful in putting strategies in place, has learned from their previous mistakes and is ready to come into a successful but growing organization to take full ownership of this department. This person will need to create processes and procedures and shouldn't be afraid of taking risks.
The Director of Supply Chain role exists to oversee and lead the development, implementation, oversight, and enforcement of all company Supply Chain initiatives. The Director of Supply Chain must possess the utmost level of integrity and be capable of influencing an organization in pursuit of creating the most process efficient, properly stocked, risk managed, low-cost inventory, while maintaining outstanding vendor relationships. This highly visible role will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing function within our client's organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop a strategy that will achieve financial and operational improvement through the execution of sourcing and negotiation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas including generator parts, third party services, and real estate
- Effectively manage key supplier performance by conducting routine business reviews while developing new suppliers and/or alternative solutions
- Develop sourcing/stocking strategies and present updates on progress and performance to company leadership
- Develop, align, and resource a pipeline of sourcing initiatives across the enterprise through spend analysis, business demand, contract expiration, and market shifts
- Lead and direct team members across enterprise-wide strategic sourcing activities including spend/supplier analysis, benchmarking, RFx/Supplier selection, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and change management
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, articulate needs to the market, establish competitive pricing, terms, SLAs, and success measures with selected vendors
- Develop and maintain key internal relationships and gain consensus with regional leadership and functional teams to ensure alignment of objectives and priorities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience in similar Oilfield Equipment, Support and Field Service Industries: Rotating Equipment, Power Generation, Sand, Drilling/Completions, Wellsites, etc.
- Must be able to travel (less than 50%) to other branches around TX/OK
- 5-10 years of Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain Experience
- Must reside in/near or relocate to DFW area
- Minimum of 5 years of Procurement/Supply Leadership Experience
