What We Need:

The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for the administration of human resources policies, programs, and initiatives for the business locations in Tampa, Florida and Ontario, California. In addition to an emphasis on talent acquisition, responsibilities include the following functional areas: employee experience and engagement, compliance, HRIS administration, leave of absence management, safety, and workers' compensation claim management.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and partner with employee engagement committee to facilitate activities and initiatives.
  • Stay current with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends as needed and advise management team of same.
  • Perform other duties as necessary and /or requested.
  • Work with employees and managers to resolve employee relations and performance related issues, provide coaching on performance management discussions and advise on talent development.
  • Interpret HR policy and deliver HR services to business; identify appropriate policy and procedure for specific situations and ensure consistency.
  • Lead, manage, and ensure compliance of the full recruitment life cycle including: sourcing, interviewing, selection, and retention.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and off boarding.
  • Manage HR systems in order to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of employee and organizational data.
  • Serve as an employee resource and advocate while balancing fair labor standards and Brady policy, practice, and business needs.
  • Partner with Corporate HR team on various HR initiatives and deliverables.
  • Partner with business leaders to execute strategies that ensure maximum workforce engagement and positive employee experience.


What you Need to be Successful:

  • Recruitment experience managing a large number of positions in a full life cycle recruiting, high volume, and fast paced environment.
  • Experience liaising with outsourced recruitment models (RPO, Staffing Agency).
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist role, call center environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal as well as California and Florida State employment laws and compliance requirements.

  • Skilled in identifying talent needs and executing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Positive, service oriented with excellent follow-through.
