Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join a strong company headquartered here in Miami. This role will oversee payroll, HRIS, and other HR generalist functions for the US and LATAM region. Strong opportunities for career growth and development.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Take on Ad-hoc projects
  • Process US and international payroll
  • Provide interpretation of HR policies, practices, and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Plan and coordinate onsite and offsite events and activities, as per management directives.
  • Ensure compliance of employment practices and the payroll department per federal, state and local laws.
  • Audit compliance I-9’s and to all EEOC complaints; oversee the coordination of training and employee engagement efforts; represent the organization at any unemployment hearings.
  • Performs annual audits of key practices and maintain documentation and records for personnel files including current job descriptions
  • Build an effective benefits communication strategy and measure its results.
  • Process new hire paperwork, create and develop onboarding experience that engages and integrates new employees into company culture and goals and manage the full employee lifecycle after that.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations; administer corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years human resources experience in a generalist role
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
