Job Description
Due to our continued growth, we are adding a Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Generalist to our Corporate HR/Talent Acquisition team to manage the daily HR functions. The Generalist will partner with the HR Director and Manager of Talent Acquisition to support employee changes, relations, employee engagement, compensation, and recruiting functions.


  • This position is hybrid. Qualified candidates must currently reside in the Indianapolis, IN area or surrounding areas and be willing to be in office 2-3 days per week, or as needed.***


Duties/Responsibilities


  • Performs other duties and project work as assigned.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit, source talent and collaborate with hiring leaders to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer or support the execution of human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, investigations, performance, talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Attends and participates in employee and company meetings.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.


Required Skills/Abilities


  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with a combination of autonomy and engaging the appropriate HR team member when needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Education And Experience


  • 1-3 years of Talent Acquisition and HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work history.

Risse Brothers is seeking a full-time Sales Associate at our Tampa, FL brick-and-mortar location.


Day-to-day responsibilities can include customer interaction, picking and packing web orders, checking inventory accuracy, receiving shipments, folding, and cleaning. The role is critical to helping the company quickly fulfill orders for custom school uniforms - particularly during the busy back-to-school season (June-August).


Job Requirements


  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the manager from time-to-time
  • Assisting customers in locating merchandise when needed
  • Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
  • Assisting in ringing up sales at registers and/or bagging merchandise


Schedule


  • Flexibility available
  • Standard shift hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 AM-5:30 PM / Hours vary in the peak season (June - September)
