Payor Enrollment Specialist (Sc Remote) ($21.00 - $23.00 / Hour)

Position Responsibilities

• Perform other duties assigned by the Payer Enrollment Manager and/or Management
• Review, enter, and follow up on missing information for credentialing applications
• Participate in the credentialing committee as necessary
• Maintain compliance with credentialing requests, status, and issues
• Track credentialing application statuses and update provider files
• Process applications for insurance payer participation and manage enrollment requirements
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders
• Submit and follow up on requests for signatures in a timely manner
• Respond to credentialing requests and verify provider credentials with hospitals and health payers

Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of clerical principles and strong telephone etiquette
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education

• CPCS credentialing preferred
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel & Access
• Two-three years of clerical experience
• Understanding of medical terminology preferred

Mental And Physical Demands (per ADA Guidelines)

• Sitting for long periods of time (2.6+ hrs/day)

Travel Demands

• May require travel to offsite meeting events

Hourly Compensation Range: $21 - $23

• All Protected Health Information must be kept secure at all times
