Position Overview:

Masterworks is looking for a Membership Coordinator responsible for meeting with potential investors by phone, igniting their interest in Masterworks, and guiding them to the next step of the investment process. We are seeking passionate individuals to assist users in answering high-level questions about art as an asset class and help convert website users to active investors.

This role is designed for someone who is passionate about sales, has the drive to excel in a start-up/fintech environment, and has experience going above and beyond for their customers. We would love a candidate with an interest in art, but certainly not required. Our ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling investor appointments with the Investment Advisor team
• Effective follow-ups with investors who are lukewarm but not yet sold
• ~300 outbound calls per day to potential investors
• Assisting in the day-to-day onboarding of new investors
• Speaking to the inner workings of Masterworks, explaining art as an asset class

Requirements or Skill Sets:

• 2-3+ years of sales experience
• Strong understanding of financial markets
• 1+ years of experience in financial services preferred
• Strong interest in selling alternative investments
• Highly organized, results-driven personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How does Masterworks think about compensation?

This is a remote position open to candidates located in Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.

The compensation range for the role is $25-31k annually plus up to $2,500 monthly in performance bonuses. The advertised pay scale reflects the good faith salary range for this role and is not a promise of a particular wage for any specific employee. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
