About The Role
As the Director of Partnerships at Journey, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with key brokers and consultants in the employee benefits industry. You will play a crucial role in managing partner relationships, executing partnership marketing and sales strategies, tracking partnership performance, and making strategic recommendations for improvement. Collaboration with internal departments is key to ensure knowledge transfer and alignment with Journey's overall business goals. We're looking for a dynamic, accomplished professional with previous success working with brokers and consultants to help build and optimize these valuable business relationships.
In This Job, You Will
  • Analyze partnership performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations accordingly.
  • Track and measure the performance of partnerships using relevant metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Manage and handle all consultant deals
  • Represent Journey at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and expand partnerships and stay connected with key industry players.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related matters, and educating consultants on Journey’s products and capabilities
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key partners in the employee benefits industry to drive business growth and increase market reach.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consultant and client needs, motivations and implications for Journey
  • Work closely with other departments at Journey, such as product and marketing, to ensure knowledge transfer and alignment of partnership initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to employee benefits and partnerships.
  • Own and lead the completion of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring timely and high-quality responses that differentiate Journey from competitors and secure new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience working with consultants, brokers, and partners in a similar capacity at a health and wellness company
  • Experience at a startup
  • Self-motivated and self-driven to achieve results
  • Consistent over achievement in quota and revenue goals
  • Excellent communication, relationship, presentation and time management skills
