THE ROLE:

We are looking for a talented Manager, Marketing Technology - Retention to help evolve our Retention technical ecosystem (Lifecycle Marketing, Insights) to the next level. Reporting to the Senior Director - Marketing Technology and Ops, this role will both support tweaks to our existing ecosystem and push for large-scale change to manage and evolve how Athletic Greens connects with our subscribers. MarTech’s responsibility is to identify gaps in our stack and/or processes then address them systematically in addition to owning the administrative work of keeping these platforms functioning. As a scaling company, AG’s tech stack is evolving in real time and we’re looking for something to help lead the charge. The Manager, Marketing Technology - Retention will collaborate with stakeholders across the aforementioned Marketing teams to define business needs, collaborate on ways to address opportunities/gaps, research new tools and strategies, work as admin on the retention tech stack, manage vendor releases and relationships, and manage change.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Drive adoption of new tools and processes within the Retention team.
  • Operate marketing technology as the subject matter expert, sharing key insights, suggestions and risks to the leadership team.
  • Regularly monitor data quality within tech products to ensure quality is at the level expected and that the needs of the business are continuously met.
  • Support AG globally across North America and EU.
  • Work as the Subject Matter Expert on Retention platforms.
  • Work with the LCM, Insights, and AG’s tech teams to bring a holistic technical ecosystem to enable our retention efforts.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing processes, or provide recommendations for change where necessary.
  • Identify new opportunities and methods to manage AG’s retention efforts with existing tech and new data.
  • Lead the integration of new tech products into AG’s existing tech ecosystem
  • Prepare action plans for any identified risks from a data or process perspective to ensure optimal workflows and outputs.
  • Define success in terms of adoption of and execution of technology, and hold partners and teams accountable to the timelines and outcomes expected.
  • Train and support teammates on new tech products.
  • Design and manage workflows between Retention teams and Technology


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Experience working cross-functionally and communicating results to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • A strong ability to prioritize and deliver according to set priorities.
  • Experience utilizing ESPs and SMS.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!
  • 3+ years of project management experience preferably in the MarTech space.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve objectives and meet expected deadlines.
  • Basic SQL knowledge a plus
  • Strategic thinker who can see the finish line and work backward from there to create a clear plan for how to make our ideas a reality.

AG is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $85,000 - $120,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
