Job Description

TheRetention Renewal Manager (RRM)on the Bluewave team is critical to the success and satisfaction of our clients. The RRM proactively reviews upcoming contract expirations, helps the account team and client evaluate the need for change and if appropriate options to help future proof client’s technology operations. The RRM will support the renewal process, research viable alternatives, obtain pricing and SLAs and help the account team present solutions to clients.

Through your attention to detail and highly collaborative communication skills, you will help to ensure that as a team, Bluewave is able to strategically advise and support our clients every day with a best-in-class technology management process.



Core Responsibilities

  • Forecast renewals and track performance against goals, report on renewal progress and results to senior management.
  • Support the renewal process by partnering with the Sales, Customer Success, and Commercial Services teams to position Bluewave as a trusted partner.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about their upcoming renewals
  • Assist with ensuring accuracy and integrity of client renewal solutions.
  • Ensure IT and technology service continuity by proactively managing and executing contract renewals strategies to drive value for the client and Bluewave.
  • Negotiate contracts for customers with suppliers and carriers to ensure that we achieve the best possible terms.
  • Support account team in review and maintenance of accurate client and carrier contacts in SFDC.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in Orchestrate QBRs, where applicable, to review upcoming client accounts and service renewals.
  • Lead the renewal process from start to finish (collaborating with the account team as appropriate), including tracking renewal dates, communicating with customers, and resolving any issues.
  • Base salary plus variable commission.
