Human Resources Specialist Jobs

Profile Products seeks a talented, professional Human Resource (HR) Specialist to join their team and manage all human resource procedures for our client's Bowling Green and Sarasota, FL, locations. The successful candidate will be passionate about recruiting, supporting, and evolving employees through our company’s guidelines and managing processes. To excel in this role, you should be an excellent communicator with in-depth knowledge of the recruiting process and labor regulations and support and troubleshoot miscellaneous administrative needs. This role also plays a key role in developing and implementing essential HR programs, processes, and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure Profile Products maintains compliance with HR-related laws, regulations, and processes.
• Ensure delivery of positive employee relations programs as well as address any employee relations concerns, including conducting investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations and all onboarding activities.
• Regularly partner with managers and local plant HR to provide assistance with HR matters and to further the development of a positive company culture.
• Assist in providing guidance and information to managers and employees in all areas related to company policies, procedures, and HR legal compliance.
• Build organizational capability through the recruitment of top talent, coaching leadership, and implementing/enabling performance management and employee development programs.
• Lead projects that enable excellent HR support, programs, and processes.
• Ensure workplace issues are handled effectively and expediently in order to remove barriers to successful job performance and foster a positive work environment.
• Actions to result in high levels of employee engagement and commitment.
• Provide input and support regarding strategic company initiatives and projects.
• Initiate and manages employment processes.
• Assist with workers' compensation and unemployment matters and build processes to ensure that these are managed compliantly and effectively.
• Solicit employee insights through the use of employee feedback tools to guide business leaders, processes, and programs that drive employee engagement and retention.
• Provide guidance on leave of absence programs, including ADA accommodations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of human resources experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Industry experience is strongly preferred in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with knowledge of distribution channels ideal
• Ability to travel 10 - 15%
• Human Resources certification from HRCI or SHRM preferred
