This position acts as a business partner to the site leader and ensures the people initiatives are aligned with the goals of the business while being a strong employee advocate, driving an inclusive and positive work environment. Effective Employee Relations strategies that foster a safe, positive, productive, and engaging work environment.

What you will do:

  • Ensure the site remains in compliance with Company policies, as well as local, state, and federal law
  • Influence at different levels of the organization
  • Work with different departments including Worker’s Compensation, Compensation, Employee Relations, Loss Prevention, Leave of Absence, and Benefits, to help resolve employee questions and act as a liaison
  • Execute the Company human resources initiatives and goals at the site level
  • Succession planning to ensure the site has a talent bench for key leadership positions
  • Build a high-performance workforce by recruiting, onboarding, engaging, and retaining talent
  • Maintain employee personnel files and training records , as well as maintain accurate system data in HRIS and timekeeping system
  • Coach and consult the management team to create an engaging work environment
  • Monitor EEO and annual AAP programs
  • Actively build relationships with organizations and the local community to create a diverse pipeline of talent
  • Use data, roundtables, and trends to create a positive employee relations strategy, including creating and executing the annual site engagement action plan

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or eight (8) years of work experience in human resources
  • Three (3) years of previous experience in Human Resources
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
  • Eighteen (18) years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment
