Brief
The Club at Mediterra, a multiple award-winning private club located in Naples, Florida has an opening for a Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will work under the direction of the Director of Human Resources.The candidate should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, employment policies/protocols and payroll. The ideal candidate must have the ability to secure confidential information with utmost care and diligence.The candidate is expected to be a conceptual thinker with outstanding organizational and time management skills.The position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.The candidate must have the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, build superior internal and external relationships, and assist a high-performance team to achieve objectives.

The Person We Are Looking for:
- Perform time sheet payroll, incentive payments, and carrier billing audits
- Assist with the recruitment process [includes H2B international program]; schedules interviews, performs reference checks and pre-hiring screenings
- Assist in the development of the employee handbook and new personnel policies and procedures
- Process workers compensation including claim reporting and OHSA notifications/postings
- Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and claims processing
- Coordinates and oversees new employee on-boarding and orientation
- Complete special project tasks as assigned by the Director of Human Resources, Chief Financial Officer, and the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer
- Prepare position profiles for both internal and external recruitment campaigns.
- Support Director of Human Resources with managing all aspects of human resources related functions, including teammate relations, benefits, incentives, and compliance management
- Respond to unemployment and employment verification notices
- Follows all standards required by applicable federal, state, and other laws and regulations; assist with filing compliance reports with the respective federal and state agencies
- Update content on the human resources information system (HRIS) platform
What We Would Like You to Have
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or related position
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred; willingness to pursue, if applicable
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to translate both written and verbal communication preferred
- Highly proficient is Microsoft Office Products and related business and communication tools
- Display the ability to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and or events
- Bachelor’s degree
- Able to work well within a team environment
