Your role: Performs a variety of HR activities. Partners with, and builds strong relationships with, leaders and key decision makers in relevant functions/divisions to optimize business success through HR initiatives.
- May investigate, mediate, and resolve employee and labor relations issues.
- Brings best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making.
- Applies general understanding of all areas of human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, HRIS, equal opportunity and diversity, data analysis, etc.
- Takes a holistic approach to analyze HR issues, resolve problems and propose solutions.
- Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends.
- Ensures efficiency and accuracy of HR processes and transactions.
- Develops, implements and ensures the ongoing effectiveness of all internal processes and systems; develops and executes an efficient infrastructure that can deliver HR services consistently, responsively and cost effectively.
- May provide coaching and counsel to business leaders, managers and employees.
- Generally, works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Normally receives little instruction on daily work.
- Provides administrative or technical support at a senior level.
- Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. Makes minor adjustments to working methods.
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- May be informal team leader.
- Proficient in the various competencies relevant to their job.
- Two-year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3-year experience in functional area OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level.
- Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees.
- May act as a lead or mentor to more junior technical or administrative support personnel.
- Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Explains practices, procedures, and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the job area.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.

The typical base pay range for this role in Moore, SC, is USD $41,800 - $54,400 - $66,900 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
