Important
  • This position can be performed remotely.
  • This course is 15 weeks in length and it is for Fall 2023 semester (09/05/2023 – 12/17/2023)
Course: BUS-340: Ethical and Legal Issues in Business
This writing-intensive course is a comprehensive study of the legal and ethical issues of concern to business, including those areas of the U.S. legal system that are most relevant to business, such as the law of torts, strict liability, intellectual property, and contract law. It explores the role of ethics and values in business decision making and approaches these subjects from the perspective of the stakeholders as opposed to an economic interpretation of the firm and its responsibilities.
What You Will Do:
  • Provides grading feedback in accordance to the primary instructor’s guidelines.
  • Adheres to weekly grading deadlines.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
  • Assists primary instructor with grading all weekly assignments.
  • Observes students’ performance, and addresses concerns to aid primary instructor in assessing progress.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelors (or higher) in a Business related program of study with coursework in legal and ethical issues related to business
