Job Description
GOAT Group is looking for a People Operations Generalist who will provide a broad range of support to the People Team.
We are looking for a People Operations Generalist who thrives off operational efficiency, data integrity, and being exposed to a broad range of HR initiatives. This role will help support our global company in the everyday operation of our business. This position encompasses administrative, analytical, and human resources responsibilities which covers a diverse scope having a meaningful impact on the company. The People Ops Generalist reports directly to the Senior Manager of Global People Operations and collaborates closely with team members within the People team.
The ideal person is someone who is extremely detail-oriented, enjoys learning, taking on challenges, and wants a role that will continually evolve and expand as the company grows globally. This role will support People Operations domestically and internationally.
What You Will Do:
  • Complete periodic and regular audits ensuring wage rates, deductions and withholdings, and time and attendance profiles are set up accurately.
  • Process worker compensation claims, investigations and communication with insurance companies and medical providers.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance including but not limited to record-keeping and annual reporting.
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Serve as the Initial point of contact and administrator for systems and compliance-related matters e.g. workers compensation, and other programs.
  • Coordinate and own contractor and temporary employee process, which includes completing contractor templates and tracking/notifying relevant parties of when a contractor/temporary employee is starting/terminating.
  • Determine approach and develop a workers compensation process.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on the People Team to facilitate implementation and administration of HR programs/systems such as case management, knowledge database, onboarding portal, HR system updates, etc.
  • Effectively use the HRIS business intelligence tool to gather data to complete various requests, reports and audits.
  • Audit data housed in the HRIS system to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
  • Manage all verifications of income and employment, unemployment and other government agency requests.
  • On a needed basis respond to day-to-day HR inquiries and provide support on the entire employee lifecycle e.g. onboarding, employee status changes, and off-boarding, including maintaining compliance throughout all these key transition phases.
  • Assist in research and compilation of international statutory and customary practices regarding leaves, allowances, best practices, etc.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and decks based on country specific laws and regulations.
What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of prior HR or related experience preferred.
  • Experience using MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google docs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maturely balance sensitive and confidential information with experience to research, organize and analyze data to make insightful recommendations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.
The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Hiring Range:
$73,400—$100,000 USD
