Foodservice Region Chain Account Manager - Southeast
Position Overview:

As a Foodservice Chain Account Manager, you will be able to impact our success by leading and managing the growth of our Foodservice emerging chain account business including some distribution work in the Southeastern United States.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Johnsonville distribution manager
- Work with Marketing and applications team to deliver concepts and insights driving new sales at targeted accounts along with segment specific sales materials as needed to grow business
- Establish target list of top accounts to deliver incremental business
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Establish a pipeline of target accounts for broker team with progress updates to coach. Ongoing meetings with broker chain account sakes team
- Develop top to top relationships at the highest levels including V.P of Marketing and Culinary level
- Ongoing relationship with broker personnel to establish target accounts and work with them to close new business opportunities
- Ability to work with key customers on contracts, supply chain, forecasting, deductions and legal matters
- Develop and build relationships with key multi-unit operators within the commercial segment
- Implement HICS (Highest Impact on Customer Success) with customers to gain a deeper understanding of their business, which will lead to delivering their sales and profits
- Work closely with the Johnsonville Foodservice Business Team to assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field required
Experience:
- Knowledge of foodservice distribution required
- Experience managing brokers preferred
- Experience calling on region chain accounts with some national accounts required
- Minimum of 5 years Foodservice Region or National Account sales experience required
Location: Atlanta or Florida with up to 75% travel
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with proven sales results
- Strategic and tactical business planning skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Power Point and Excel)
- Team skills—ability to share ideas, work with and assist other members to ensure the success of the team.
- Highly entrepreneurial spirit; demonstrated success in growing Foodservice business volume and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
- Excellent communication skills including negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate to and build relationships at highest level of accounts.
Location: Remote – Southeast Florida or Atlanta
Coach: Director of Sales, Foodservice
