job purpose:


The Sr. Region Sales Manager is responsible for leading their respective North America Operating Unit (NAOU) region commercial objectives across the fairlife portfolio of dairy-based nutrition brands. This role requires a Nielsen and knowledge & insights mindset to support commercial planning and execution across all routes to market to drive flawless execution and partnership with our Retail, Foodservice, and On-Premise customers in the Region. The Sr. Region Sales Manager will be the subject matter experts in their respective RTM portfolio of brands. In addition, SRCM is responsible to provide category, customer, and shopper selling tools to fairlife Region Key Account Managers (RKAM) and NAOU customer and bottler teams within their respective Regions. This individual will deliver against strategic commercial initiatives based on company goals that will promote brand love, accelerate growth, and deliver unmatched value for our customers, the Coca-Cola system, and the company. The Sr. Region Sales Manager will be responsible for commercial communication and intelligence across all brands and all routes to market in the region they are aligned to commercially.


responsibilities:


  • Analyze bottler and customer information and business trends using syndicated data sources to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Create and present selling decks utilizing relevant data and insights for respective bottler and customer accounts
  • Ensure time sensitive deadlines are met within assigned territory
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication of confirmed programming to fairlife and Coke Sales Ops teams to maximize execution
  • Partner with regional Bottler Commercial Lead to develop bottler material for priority customers as needed(delete)
  • Responsible for partnering and managing relationship with bottler sales teams on regional account sales
  • Evaluate current and past regional programming for effectiveness and ROI to determine future needs and plans
  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong bottler and customer relationships
  • Key relationships and partnerships: Assigned bottler territory sales teams, fairlife sales team, fairlife commercial team
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned accounts (adding SKUs, new platforms), and take lead on sales approach and execution to new buyers
  • Partner with fairlife franchise operations manager to customize fairlife’s national commercial plan for specific bottler and territory
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned territory by utilizing fact-based selling methods
  • Ensure customers are complying with contracted requirements


skills/qualifications required:


  • Proactive attitude with entrepreneurial skill set, who thrives in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Key Account Management sales experience required, with a focus on food or beverage products preferred
  • Possess existing knowledge of local market
  • Minimum 3 years’ Bottler/Distributor management experience; preferably with food or beverage products
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive business plan objects
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen ability
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives in response to inevitable market challenges


position location: Remote/Home Office in Carolina’s and Mid-Atlantic Market Units. North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC
