Opportunity and Summary of Position:

Regional Account Manager, FL, GA, AL, MS, LA

Regional Account Managers will ensure formulary access to resmetirom across assigned regional payers while working across the matrix team to execute effective pull-through programs. This includes interacting with all levels of regional payers including, but not limited to, Pharmacy Directors, Medical Directors, Quality Management, and Population Health. RAMs will collaborate across the organization including Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Insights and Analytics, Patient Support and Key Account Management. The position will report to Executive Director, Market Access Regional Accounts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Engage with Patient Support to foster shared and timely communications regarding coverage challenges and/or trends.
• Collaborate and consult with functional matrix team leaders to optimize business performance and/or manage complex business risks and issues.
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of NASH disease state, resmetirom clinical data and commercialization strategy and further customer engagement by providing deep insights/expertise around the NAFLD/NASH disease continuum and customer insight on trends, market conditions and changes in formulary/medical policies.
• Review and correct formulary information monthly to be disseminated to key internal team members.
• Support the National Account team to develop and communicate clear and effective pull-through initiatives that will drive successful contract performance through collaboration with Sales in alignment with the Area Directors (Access & Sales Directors).
• Conduct business with the highest compliance and integrity standards and in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.
• Enable and support MML/HEOR/Marketing team interactions with customers to include consultation and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to develop patient-centric solutions unique MML engagements and relationship-building with peers.
• Leverage and champion core market access resources and sales planning tools.
• Develop both short and long-term tactical plans to optimize resmetirom coverage in assigned regional accounts.
• Expect to spend ~70% of work time dedicated to managing assigned regional accounts and ~30% involved in cross matrix collaboration.
• Develop and execute Regional Access Matrix Business Plans in cooperation with cross-functional leaders (Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access and Patient Support).

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Must reside in geographic area of responsibility.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets.
• Extensive customer relationships with regional plan pharmacy and medical directors.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and in an environment of rapid change.
• 5 or more years of demonstrated success in account management.
• Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary range for this role is between $170,000-$220,000. Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, and experience as well as business needs and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
