Job Description

Reporting to the Field Operations Leader, the Director of Field Operations will work at both a strategic and tactical level in support of the Field team. Acting as the business program leader, this role is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of high priority, enterprise programs and connecting them to business objectives. The role requires connecting multiple interrelated projects within the program and ensuring their integration and alignment. Through collaboration with operational leaders and market leaders, this leader assures the ‘voice of the business’ is present, and that business value is articulated, measure, and tracked.


This role will partner with the IT program leaders and other functional leaders to ensure effective coordination and alignment of technology-related initiatives within the overall program.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor program progress, track key milestones, and proactively identify risks and issues, taking appropriate actions to mitigate their impact.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic vision.
  • Lead the overall program management, providing strategic direction and ensuring successful delivery of program objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, identifying opportunities to drive innovation and improve program outcomes.
  • Ensure effective change management strategies are implemented, supporting stakeholders through program transitions and adoption of new initiatives.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and provide status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of multiple projects within the program, ensuring interdependencies are identified and addressed.
  • Develop, in partnership with the IT program leadership, comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration channels with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring their integration within the overall program framework.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 7 years of experience in operations
  • Critical thinking and ability to support strategic transformation activities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
  • Process improvement experience supporting the development, review, and revision of processes and policies as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibition of the highest ethical standards while demonstrating accountability and ownership
  • Proven ability to work across a matrix and multi-site environment
  • Experience partnering on IT-related projects is desired
  • Experience supporting senior management including thought leadership and support
  • Collaborative style as a thought partner who works productively with the leadership team


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in homecare, healthcare, healthcare services with private equity ownership preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
