Job Description

The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Recruiter will play a key role in our nationwide talent acquisition efforts within the facilities services industry. This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and provide crucial support to all Centers of Excellence in our O&M division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the facilities services industry and have a proven track record in sourcing high-quality candidates for operational and maintenance roles.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of operational projects, including coordinating resources, tracking progress, and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and direct sourcing to identify potential candidates.
  • Lead recruitment activities such as collaborating with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement recruitment strategies, acting as a talent advisor, and conducting initial screening processes.
  • Act as a talent advisor, sourcing high-quality candidates for operations and maintenance roles across our nationwide Centers of Excellence.
  • Conduct screening processes to evaluate candidates for technical qualifications and cultural fit, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, finance, and human resources, to ensure alignment of goals and effective collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, to support the ongoing success and growth of the company.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to the Senior VP of O&M, including assisting with the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operational processes, procedures, and policies as part of your operational support role.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to support the development of recruitment strategies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for the O&M Senior VP and other management.
  • Drive candidate interest through creative marketing and social media campaigns, articulating UG2's value proposition effectively.
  • Provide expert advice to hiring managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and staffing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored for the facilities services industry.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships within the industry to expand the potential applicant pool.


Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience):

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably within a facilities services or related industry.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, preferably within the facilities services industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Prior experience sourcing for operational and maintenance roles across a range of locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Remote or hybrid office setting with 10% requirement for travel.
