The Extra Help HR Assistant will assist a team of HR professionals by qualifying candidates for various searches for different employment groups, assist in scheduling interviews and assist with various HR tasks, projects and reports. Extra Help Temporary assignments are limited to 900 hours and are non-benefits eligible. Hourly Rate of Pay is $20.21.
The ideal candidate thrives in pressure, focuses on achieving, loves to learn, has excellent prioritization skills and enjoys working with ambitious and goal-focused personalities. Personal attributes necessary for the position are deadline driven, excellent decision-making skills, excellent written, oral, and interpersonal and communications skills, dependable and reliable, able to organize, prioritize, handle frequent interruptions and has great attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Any one or any combination totaling one (1) year (12 months) from the following categories below:
- course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- work experience performing basic human resource/payroll or general office support duties.

- Work experience performing basic human resource/payroll or general office support duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with calendering
- Prior HR experience
- Experience with Cornerstone
