We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our corporate office in Westmont, IL. This position will manage all aspects of Human Resources with one direct report to support employees at the corporate office, outside sales, and distribution center.

How you will help:

• Coordinate Worker’s Compensation and unemployment processes
• Support all HR and company initiatives.
• Counsel managers on employee relations and performance issues
• Maintain good working relationships with all staff members and management.
• Manage the day-to-day HR activities by administering various HR processes and policies.
• Manage leaves of absences in compliance with FMLA and company policies
• Coordinate all recruitment efforts and onboarding with hiring managers for office, outside sales, and warehouse.
• Review and implement HR procedures for efficiencies.
• Administration of benefits, including open enrollments

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or five+ years of HR experience; HR certification a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
• General business knowledge
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; Paycom a plus
• Experience working with distribution/warehouse environment required.
• Management and leadership experience
