Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day responsibilities and administrative operations of the human resource department for MPAC Healthcare. This position will design and implement strategic Human Resources programs and policies and serve as a strategic partner throughout the organization to enable high-performing talent. The HR Manager will collaborate with leadership on organizational strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee and labor relations. The HR Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and work with management and leadership on business planning, strategy, and high-level decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end hiring process including preparation of job descriptions and job postings, oversight of interviewing and hiring process, and performance evaluations..
  • Oversees performance reviews and corrective action up to and including termination, and provides ongoing supervision, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Oversees project development and implementation of initiatives, office procedures, and policies and ensures compliance.
  • Works with management to establish annual performance goals, allocates resources, assesses annual performance, and helps determine individual merit, incentive, and/or promotional increases.
  • Technology deployment and procurement
  • Maintain all human resources files.
  • Stays current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and advises management in related matters
  • Serves as liaison regarding labor relations issues, job postings, job classifications, employee benefits, payroll, leave administration, employee departures, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for program evaluation, tracking, policy implementation, and personnel administration.
  • Currently structured as an HR Department of one, with the ability to potentially manage others in the future as the company grows.
  • Provides leadership and direction through managers responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring human resource issues.
  • Coordinate space/office assignments for employees. Coordinate staff training programs, staff meetings, and other staff functions.
  • Develops short, and long-term Human Resource plans and operational policies ensuring high performance and accountability throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Adobe Workspace
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred;
  • A participatory management and leadership style that encourages high performance, collaboration, cooperation, and personal growth.
  • Expertise in all areas of human resource management at an enterprise level including diversity and inclusion, compensation, benefits, policies, employment law, integrated talent management practices, employee relations, recruitment and retention, and professional training and development initiatives;
  • Capable of building innovative human resources programs integrated with organizational goals and creating and managing performance management processes;
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare human resource administration experience with clinical (professionals requiring state licensure to practice clinical medicine) groups in multi-state, multi-site practices preferred;
  • Minimum of five years of relevant and progressively responsible human resources experience is required;
  • Writing & oral communication skills including the ability to present information to all levels of staff and to the Board of Directors;
  • Strong organizational development/design and change management experience with the ability to lead, plan, manage, and implement change;
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Strong employee relations experience; able to coach and educate managers on effectively addressing performance issues and gaps;
