The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering best in class marketing and our suite of differentiated products & lifestyle services (e.g. dining, travel). This team also drives the strategy, sourcing, and delivery of proprietary cash back, cobrand, and membership rewards consumer products and enterprise benefits to American Express members, with a focus on driving daily relevance and backing in their lives
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Executive Assistant, US Customer Growth and Consumer Banking will provide day-to-day administrative support to 3 Vice Presidents in the US Consumer Marketing organization, including: VP – Digital and Direct Channels, VP – Dialogic Channels, and VP – Consumer Banking Marketing.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative related tasks, as well as able to work independently and confidently under pressure. Building strong relationships, being resourceful, and knowing how to navigate large organizations fluidly will be critical to success in this position. This position is an integral part of the team and needs to be extremely proactive in anticipating and adapting to the needs of the organization.
- Responsible for calendar management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure timely preparation and processing of expense reports
- Organize internal and external business meetings, making all necessary arrangements including sending invites, reserving rooms, Webex setup, and arranging catering
- Manage meeting logistics (in-person and Webex)
- Work closely with the other administrative assistants on office operations
- Maintain headcount reporting, organizational charts, and department distribution lists
- Manage general follow-ups to effectively meet deadlines and commitments
- Other ad hoc administrative work, as needed
- Manage travel arrangements, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Extremely thorough with a high level of attention to detail and quality; timely follow up
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Proven team player with ability to collaborate across groups and influence others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and be flexible in a dynamic workplace.
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Exceptional organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal guidance, solution-oriented
- Ability to effectively deal with a broad range of contacts and personalities – internal and external
- Experience in providing support remotely to a geographically disbursed team
- Ideal candidate should have previous experience as an Executive Assistant
Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefits
