The Role

As a Director, Technology Operations & Compliance, you will lead initiatives and build programs to drive efficient management of IT processes, build and monitor technology + security metrics, and achieve compliance requirements. Your role will help the Technology and Security (“TS”) organization align with business objectives, lead business transformation and system implementations, and contribute to the successful management of business stakeholder relationships.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Build effective and efficient compliance for our internal processes including our Sarbanes Oxley, Privacy, Information Security, Federal compliance programs.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of technology operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement plans to optimize TS processes and operations in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Define consistency of data definitions and develop organizational data governance policies across Business Applications (e.g. Salesforce), BI/Analytics and Data Engineering.
• Design and implement an integrated risk management approach that applies operating controls to manage Flock’s risks.
• Manage technology and security spend, and vendor relationships to maximize value and ensure business requirements are met.
• Collaborate with various business, technology and security teams, align the needs and solutions, influence/drive the necessary changes to achieve timely results.

We’re looking for people who:

• Excellent knowledge of industry standards (NIST, ISO, CIS) , and compliance requirements (SOX, SOC 2, FedRAMP, CJIS) including hands-on experience in building compliance programs.
• Ability to determine and set the strategic direction of the governance, risk and compliance function
• Strong skills and experience in designing and documenting complex processes, and identifying and eliminating deficiencies in existing process designs
• Strong experience in implementing and monitoring IT metrics, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Demonstrable results in delivering modern, easy to use, innovative enterprise IT applications, with strong user adoption.
• BS in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, architectures, and technologies
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, partners, and industry peers
• Strong track record of managing people, projects, and processes
• 12+ years of proven experience in managing IT teams and a leadership role overseeing technology operations in a fast-paced environment.

💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $170,000-$215,000 as well as stock options
