Strategic IT Sourcing Specialist (Contract Manager)

  • Expected length: Possibility of permanent placement, 6 Month term with Full Time option upon satisfaction of the duration of the contract.


We have a new opportunity for a Strategic IT Sourcing and Contract Manager. Our Division of Strategic IT Sourcing is committed to providing Software Spend reporting to our executive leadership to understand our total software spend. This role will collaborate with all areas of finance, procurement, IT Contracting, and various IT teams.


Responsibilities

  • Work with business users to understand their business processes and vendor software spend, translating requirements into functional specifications for dashboards and reports.
  • Be involved with projects related to the identification of cost savings and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Design and develop dashboards to support strategic initiatives with an understanding of results and ability to provide recommendations
  • Maintain various financial models used to support decision-making throughout the institution.
  • Review Technology agreements to identify related spending.
  • Design and optimize data models to support reporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate with IT financial managers to develop and refine vendor software-based costs.


Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of IT Finance experience
  • Experience in Decision Support or Cost Accounting
  • 2+ experience working in the IT Contract Management space
  • RFP Experience
  • Contract Life Cycle Management (reviewing, editing, and redlining contracts)
  • Providing executive/business stakeholder reviews/summaries
  • Strategic IT/technology Sourcing and Contract Management experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel
