Description

The Head of GFiber Compliance role will lead the Company’s External Compliance Programs, reporting into Finance and working closely with other cross functional teams to develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive and dynamic program that meets all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically as well as attention to detail are fundamental to the role.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and administer scalable compliance programs in an evolving environment
• Research regulations and trends and educate senior leadership and relevant stakeholders on impacts to GFiber
• Provide compliance expertise and thought leadership on regulatory obligations, potential risks and mitigation strategies
• Provide a Compliance lens for Product and Market related project launches as well as system rollouts
• Coordinate efforts cross-functionally to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations
• Prepare and file regulatory reporting and filing obligations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in law, business administration or related field
• Experience managing a technology strategy, including selecting tools and processes that promote efficient operations
• Broad and thorough knowledge of all components of effective compliance programs
• 10+ years of experience in a Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, Legal, or Management Consulting role
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to compile information necessary to produce external reports or regulatory filings
• Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with and influence people at all organizational levels of the company, including senior management and executive leadership.
• Experience with monitoring regulatory changes and implementing new processes to ensure ongoing compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment, and to maintain strict confidentiality, tact and diplomacy in handling a variety of sensitive issues.
• Demonstrated experience in operating in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity
• Effective change management and problem solving experience with the ability to guide transformation through process or program improvements
• Experience working in the Telecommunications industry or other regulated industry
• Demonstrated experience communicating complex findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, both verbally as well as in writing and presentations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $142K - $209 K + bonus + equity + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
