Job Summary

The Mgr Compliance supports Sharecare's Corporate Compliance Program under the direction of the Director of Compliance and General Counsel & Compliance Officer as needed. This role will be responsible for 1) coordinating work efforts related to the Corporate Compliance Program across business units and departments, and 2) standardizing and aligning organizational guidance around applicable compliance standards and industry best practices. This role will also participate in mitigation efforts to address and resolve operational risks, remediate reported incidents, and maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. The Mgr Compliance will also be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation of compliance projects and initiatives and ongoing reporting and follow-up as needed.

The Mgr Compliance will lead a team of privacy and compliance analysts.

Essential Functions

• Manages and oversees the internal incident reporting database, Compliance Hotline Reporting, and tracking of internal investigations
• Participates in all work projects and committees applicable to Compliance, Risk Management, Privacy, Security, and other groups on an ad hoc basis
• System administrator for DSAR intake system (OneTrust)
• Manages JIRA Tickets for Enterprise and Consumer Requests for Deletion or Copies of Data.
• Facilitates action plan follow through of compliance initiatives and projects
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and requirements
• Conflicts & Sanctions Committee Facilitator/Secretary
• Responsible for ad hoc reporting for departments, committees, and clients as assigned
• Maintains documentation of compliance activities, audit logs, and incident reports including CCC Salesforce Member Request Administration & Remediation (HIPAA Revocations/Opt-Outs)
• HDS Privacy Subcommittee Facilitator/Secretary
• Liaison to External Legal Counsel for GDPR/CCPA
• Works collaboratively with other departments and business units to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards
• Investigates and documents compliance and risk management issues and inquiries
• Privacy incident sanction and Corrective Action Plans
• Privacy Liaison for Sharecare Account Managers
• Enterprise Privacy Advisory Committee Secretary

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field required. Masters preferred.
• 3+ years in a compliance role with a working knowledge of basic healthcare privacy concepts and/or healthcare compliance standards
• Project management experience preferred
