: Sr. Sales Operations Advisor (contract, short-term assignment)
Our telecommunication client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales professional Consultant for a short-term assignment to provide advisory services to the SVP of Sales Operations at a leading broadband communications provider. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales organization by envisioning and developing strategic initiatives to optimize sales operations. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive rewards and recognition programs, designing sales events, and developing recruiting, development, and training programs for our sales force.
Responsibilities:
· Set the vision and build a team capable of generating a winning sales culture and stimulating highly engaged, high-performing sales teams.
· Accountable for all rewards and recognition programs to drive employee retention and sales performance.
· Drive innovation in a way that motivates the front-line sales teams.
· Redefine the sales culture to be a differentiator for our telecommunication client.
· Amplify wins, celebrate our sales culture & inclusive values, and encourage fun and positive relationships at work.
· Collaborate with marketing, pricing, and compensation leaders to deliver a drumbeat of stim campaigns and competitions to meet performance objectives.
· Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver internal events that build on sales culture, motivate, and regularly align the front line with company priorities.
· Create a budget for the rewards and recognition program, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial targets.
· Collaborate with finance, HR, and other relevant departments to integrate the program with the overall compensation plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
Create a Sales Theme and Calendar for Sales Events:
· Develop a compelling sales theme and calendar for sales events throughout the year, including sales meetings, conferences, and incentive programs.
· Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align the theme and events with company branding, sales objectives, and overall corporate strategy.
· Utilize your creativity and market knowledge to design engaging and impactful events that drive sales team motivation and engagement.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
· Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop and refine sales forecasting methodologies, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
· Design reporting and dashboards to analyze sales performance, pipeline, and key sales metrics to executive leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Proven experience in senior sales leadership or sales operations roles, preferably in a similar industry.
· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing successful sales operations initiatives.
· Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
· In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, processes, and best practices.
· Experience in developing and implementing rewards and recognition programs at a senior level.
· Proven success in sales recruiting, development, and training programs.
· Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in sales analytics and forecasting.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
