Director Of Sales Operations

The Director of Sales Operations will lead and manage the sales operations for our customer service and project management teams. This position is also accountable to support sales force productivity and effectiveness. It is the responsibility of this person to create and implement strategies, plans and structure for each team and deliver objectives that result in a high level of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. This position will directly facilitate all aspects of our customer interactions and will help foster a world-class customer experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for owning and creating a world-class customer service experience.
• Represent Sales and ensure organizational alignment between all functions related to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Lead weekly department meetings to track progress of quarterly goals and results based on company Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
• Partner with Sales, Finance and New Product Development departments to generate pricing for customers.
• Lead and manage Project Management, Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, NPD, IT, Finance and other related functions to prioritize, develop and meet or exceed key reporting metrics.
• Display engaged leadership style that empowers and promotes involvement, communication, clear expectations, accountability, and a passion for excellence.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations to deliver on-time, on-budget product launches.

Position Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
2. 3+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. 5+ years people management experience with Project Management and Customer Service departments.
4. Motivated self-starter with the ability to actively listen, collaborate and identify key drivers of cost in the business.
5. Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement.
6. Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
