Job Description
Senior Director of Operations Thomas Allen, Inc. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Operations to join our team. As the Senior Director of Operations, you will oversee and manage various departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Facilities, and Office Support. Your strategic vision and deep understanding of operational best practices will be instrumental in optimizing support to our organization while effectively managing costs and efficiencies. Supervises: Director of Human Resources Director of Training and Marketing Director of Office Support Facilities Director Reports to: CEO Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Human Services Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven track record of at least 10 years in progressively responsible leadership roles, including overseeing multiple departments or cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of applicable regulations such as 245D Licensing, Lead Agency, Privacy Practices, and Employment Law. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams to achieve goals. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage successful change initiatives. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Good working knowledge of State and Federal regulations/statutes governing service funding. Background Clearance for licensing agencies. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and leadership for Thomas Allen's operations, including Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Facilities, and Office Support. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, cost reduction, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of high-quality staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Manage the Human Resources department to establish effective personnel policies and practices, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Supervise company-wide Training operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and identifying training needs for employee development. Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing license supervision where required. Build relationships with local schools to enhance the internship program and support recruitment efforts. Oversee the Facilities and Office Support teams, ensuring security, efficient space utilization, cost-effective services, and a safe work environment. Evaluate structure and personnel needs across assigned divisions, making recommendations for optimal operations. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Directors in each assigned division. Maintain regular communication with the Senior Leadership and Executive teams. Contribute to the development and execution of company-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Assist in creating and executing the company's annual and long-term strategic plans, including division-specific initiatives. Stay updated on County, State, and Federal regulations relevant to Thomas Allen's operations. Ensure compliance with Thomas Allen's Affirmative Action Plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform sedentary work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
