You will be at the heart of our concurrent enrollment program, driving its success and overseeing the prestigious National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships accreditation. Working in close collaboration with college admissions, academic deans, faculty, and esteemed partners across the Cedar Valley, you will be a valued ambassador for our thriving community.
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of initiatives, including strategic planning, recruitment campaigns, student outreach, professional development, accreditation, and fostering strong relationships through contracts and billing. You will be the go-to person, coordinating with high school principals, teachers, counselors, as well as our own faculty and enrollment management team, to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for all involved.

Essential Job Functions
You will be at the forefront of driving change and creating opportunities for our students. Your essential duties will include:
Collaborating with school partners to enhance and implement concurrent enrollment offerings.
Preparing and submitting essential data for Hawkeye, state, and accreditation reports.
Providing guidance and support to our High School Partnerships staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Managing concurrent billing processes efficiently and accurately, keeping a keen eye on details.
Coordinating the concurrent teacher credentialing process to maintain high standards of education.
Utilizing data and feedback to determine concurrent enrollment priorities and implement effective outreach campaigns.
Spearheading the development and expansion of concurrent offerings and services in partnership with our schools.
Presenting inspiring and informative sessions to assist students in their course selection, career exploration, and college planning.
Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, families, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
Keeping the Provost and the Office of Academic Affairs informed about concurrent activities, developments, and outcomes.
Participating actively in campus committees, contributing your valuable insights and ideas.
Minimum Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in education, student services, higher education, or a related field.
At least two (2) years of experience in college admissions, student counseling, advising, or a related area.
Proficiency in understanding Iowa Department of Education guidelines and Iowa Code related to concurrent enrollment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage diverse audiences.
Experience with CRM software such as Colleague, Recruit, or similar programs, as well as adeptness in using reports to analyze and present data.
Proven ability to plan and execute long-term, interdepartmental projects.
Adeptness in executing organization and department policies and procedures.
A passion for working with a culturally diverse student population, faculty, staff, and the community at large.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and video conferencing technology.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of accreditation in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
Prior experience working in a community college environment.
Familiarity with community academic programs and degrees.
Experience in completing accreditation reports.
Proficiency in using Dual Enroll software.
Working Conditions
Anticipated working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Your work may take place in an office setting, classrooms, or virtually using technology. Interacting with students, faculty, and staff in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms will be a regular part of your day.
