Your Impactful Role
You'll be involved in various aspects of our athletics program. Your key responsibilities will include:
Guiding Student-Athletes: Assist with coaching practices and competitions, with a focus on cross country and distance events, to help our athletes achieve their fullest potential.
Talent Recruitment: Collaborate with our Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Services offices to recruit promising student-athletes, building a strong and diverse team.
Administrative Support: Contribute to the smooth functioning of the program by assisting with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.
Academic Mentorship: Support our student-athletes academic progress, retention, and graduation through mentoring and providing guidance to relevant support services.
Positive Team Environment: Foster a vibrant and supportive team atmosphere where athletes can thrive, grow, and succeed.

Minimum Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least two (2) years of coaching and/or competing experience.
CPR/First Aid certification (or the ability to obtain it within the first 3 months of employment).
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Current valid driver's license in the State of Iowa and insurable driving record.
Demonstrated flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse student population and collaborate with staff and the public.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and video conferencing technology.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
