As the Supply Chain Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating with our business partners, negotiating complex contracts, and developing strategies to achieve our short- and long-term business objectives. Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with a team of skilled contracts professionals, providing guidance and expertise daily.
Draft, negotiate, and manage intricate contract documents in alignment with our business goals and customer requirements.
Perform in-depth analysis and generate insightful reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and comply with government procurement and cost control guidelines.
Assess contractual terms and conditions for acceptability and risk impact, employing legal resources and subject matter experts to develop unique contract terms.
Brief the team leader and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation, and contingency plans based on your expert recommendations.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize workflow and enhance work product quality.
Act as a representative on legal matters related to contract issues, providing valuable advice on contract administration.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate legal records for historical reference.
Qualifications/Experience
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or in the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
Preferred: Juris Doctorate or Advanced Degree in Business Administration.
