We're on the lookout for an individual who shares our mission and is ready to support our first community partners as they pilot Carefully this fall. We recently launched our offering to support communities, including universities, hospitals, and other anchor institutions . Carefully is a platform for strengthening communities. Unlike other childcare benefits, Carefully supports community-based care that is inclusive of all types of organizations and their members, from students to workers, volunteers, patients, teachers, refugees, and more. By simplifying the organization, planning, and coordination of cooperative care, Carefully gives community members the time and energy to focus, be more productive, more connected, and build a stronger, more resilient and empowered community overall.

Community Success Manager

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Community Success Manager, your primary focus will be on nurturing customer loyalty, forging close long-term client relationships, and helping our partners successfully onboard their communities onto the Carefully platform. You'll be leveraging technology to support our partners and community members, ensuring top-notch onboarding experiences, devising user adoption strategies, driving revenue retention and growth, and advocating for our customers.

Community Onboarding, Management & Engagement

  1. Engage with potential, new, and existing community members through both online and in-person activities, fostering meaningful connections.
  2. Come up with creative ideas to raise awareness and boost engagement within the platform, helping the community thrive.

Partner Success

  1. Take the lead in collecting valuable feedback from users and sponsors, constantly improving our product and services to ensure the success of our pilot programs.

Event Planning & Execution

  1. Plan and execute launch events for the pilot programs to promote Carefully, connect pilot members, and educate the community.
  2. Organize exciting community events and facilitate conversations, cultivating a sense of belonging and connection within our pilot user community.


What Success Looks Like:

  • Converting pilot partners into long-term contracts, building lasting relationships based on trust and satisfaction.
  • Successfully onboarding and engaging pilot users, fostering a vibrant community through interactions and one-on-one conversations.
  • Ensuring our partners meet or surpass key performance indicators, contributing to their growth and success.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • You are an experienced relationship builder, equally comfortable connecting with people in-person and virtually. You enjoy reaching out to establish new connections and nurturing existing ones.
  • Nice to have: an understanding of community-based childcare models and how to support organizations venturing into this realm, such as babysitting co-ops, care circles, and swaps.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with client-facing teams to help them achieve their community-building goals.
  • You're dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience, empathizing with both customers and end users.
  • Nice to have: Previous involvement in childcare gives you valuable insights and ability to support our partners as they work to set up care networks.
  • You excel in time management and prioritization, effortlessly juggling multiple tasks while staying organized and self-sufficient.
  • With your practical experience in community outreach and engagement, you understand what it takes to make an impact on the ground.


The details:

This is a 6-month contract role that we envision being about 20 hours/week for the first 2 months and then 10 hours/week for the remainder of the contract. However, as this is a new role, we may need to adjust along the way. There is an option to extend the contract if the pilots are extended. Budget is $25/hour
